回到主場騎士隊信心全來，詹姆斯領軍「三巨頭」一起發飆，尤其前役被罵得最慘的勒夫總算回神，全場投10中8是騎士早早拉開比數的功臣，幫助球隊在NBA季後賽東區冠軍戰「聽牌」。

「他是職業級的球員。」詹姆斯大力稱讚勒夫，表示他成功觸底反彈；勒夫攻下25分，詹姆斯則進帳23分、第4節休兵看隊友拿下大勝，厄文也斬獲23分。如果三巨頭的其他兩人都如此堪用，也難怪以116：78贏球、系列戰3：1領先後，詹姆斯笑說：「我不用隻手遮天、一人掌管比賽，因為不需要。」

騎士總教練泰隆魯也表示，勒夫原本就有這樣的才能，「他之前兩場陷入低潮，但我們試圖去解決這個困境。」泰隆魯表示，勒夫此役的表現並不會嚇到自己。

開賽之初騎士就火力全開，來到克里夫蘭的暴龍拿不出應對，除了雙衛羅瑞、德羅展均無法找到準星之外，其他球員也無建樹，先發中除了雙衛兩人，沒人拿10分以上。

連前兩戰在多倫多打出代表作、狂搶籃板的長人畢永柏也失常，只拿下7分、4籃板。暴龍總教練凱西說：「他們回到主場完全是不一樣的球隊，我們希望可以拿出一點特別的表現，沒想到被對方為所欲為。」

上半場騎士最多領先達34分，第3節尾端詹姆斯無須再在場上，輕鬆坐板凳休息看球隊迎接「聽牌」。再1勝騎士就可以連續兩年站上總冠軍舞台，而西區冠軍賽目前雷霆隊以3：1領先，如果騎士、雷霆最後是爭冠球隊，騎士更可擁有主場優勢。
